OUR

charities

The Steadfast Giving Tree Foundation has partnered with local charities residing in the communities where we live and work and have mission statements that resemble or compliment Steadfast’s values and core businesses.  The impact the Steadfast Giving Tree will have on these organizations will be immediate, visible and significant with a lasting effect on all of those whom will be touched by our Associate volunteers and the foundation.

Orange County
Rescue Mission

Steadfast is also a supporter of the Orange County Rescue Mission's Village of Hope.  The Village of Hope, a 192-bed transitional housing program for homeless men, women and children, opened in March 2008 with the arrival of 30 men from the Rescue Mission’s shelter in Santa Ana. The Children’s Dream Center, a 6,000 square foot center located on the Village campus, was completed three months later in July and the Rescue Mission began admitting single homeless women with children and intact families.

The Village of Hope serves homeless single men, single women, single women with children, single men with children, and two parent families. The largest homeless sub-population on the Village of Hope campus is single women with children.

Thomas House

Thomas House was founded in 1986 by a group of Orange County Residents who were members of St. Barbara's Catholic Church. The mission of Thomas House is to provide a safe, supportive environment and the resources necessary for homeless families with children to remain together while empowering them to become independent and self-sufficient.

Thomas House does much more than shelter homeless families - they offer an opportunity to permanently change lives. Thomas House is a goal oriented, life changing program that offers comprehensive services designed to help families attain permanent housing and self-sufficiency. Thomas House exclusively serves homeless families with children, and the parents must be willing and qualified for work. Thomas House supports approximately 135-150 individuals per year.

Project Access

Project Access strives to be the leading provider of vital health, education and employment services to families, children and seniors living in low-income housing communities.  Our goal is to help keep family members employed, children in school, and seniors active.
